The Players Union processes contact details submitted on the puutupeliin.fi website. The Players Union has undertaken to process the information in accordance with the personal data protection legislation.

Use of personal data

The personal data is used to contact people. The data will be erased immediately after the person has been contacted.

The name, telephone number and preferred method of contacting.

Information security

The data is stored in electronic format. The data is used, edited and processed through an appropriately secured application. The data may only be used by appointed persons whose task it is to maintain and manage the data. The data is protected from external use and the use is monitored.

The Players Union only uses reliable operators as its partners and subcontractors. The partners and subcontractors processing personal data may be located outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, in which case personal data will be transferred outside the EU or EEA. We take care of the appropriate safeguards related to the transfers.

The collected data is stored until the person has been contacted.

Right of access, exercising the right of access and right to transfer data from one system to another

You have, after providing the necessary information, the right to access the stored data concerning you or receive the information that no data concerning you has been stored in the register. The Players Union must simultaneously inform you of its regular data sources, the purpose of use and where data is regularly disclosed.

You must provide the responsible person of the Players Union with a request concerning the matter using a signed or similarly confirmed document and verify your identity by attaching a copy of your valid official identity card to the request.

You have the right to obtain your personal data, submitted to the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format as well as the right to transfer the data in question to another controller if the processing is based on consent or an agreement between the controller and you, and the processing is performed automatically.

Rectification and erasure of data and restricting the processing

You can exercise the rights below by contacting the person responsible for the register in writing or via email.

You have the right to request for rectification of inaccurate or incorrect data. Members can rectify their incorrect data in the online service. If it is impossible to rectify the data in the online service, the member must contact the person responsible for the register.

You have the right to request for erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”). The aim is to erase the data without undue delay, unless there is a legal reason to refuse to erase the data.

You have the right to restrict the processing of your data. Once you have presented the request, the Players Union will no longer be entitled to process your data, unless there is a legal reason to process the data.

Anonymised data, use of analytics and cookies

We may use third-party analytics tools in order to develop our online services. Such a tool is, for example, Google Analytics. Data collection is automated and data is anonymised during the collection phase.
